She began to embark on a banking career with Credit Suisse, Sun Hung Kai Financial, Nomura, and was previously Senior Vice President at BNP Paribas.
Her involvement in real estate began in 2012, where she was in the final round of pitching Waldorf Hotel to a listed Macau gaming company. Since then, she has been involved in originating, sourcing and transacting on real estate deals of up to USD1 billion in exposure.
Apart from work, she devotes her time to a NGO in South Africa fostering women’s leadership and entrepreneurship. She is also a mentor at Maryknoll Convent School, a public speaker at APAC PWM Summit, Female Entrepreneur Worldwide, Apple and Family Office conferences. Andrea Fletcher is a Managing Director at Citi and is the Global Head of Client Strategy for Equities and Prime Finance. Andrea has been based in London, Sydney and Hong Kong and with her global role works extensively with the US, Europe and across Asia. She joined the Investment Banking industry in London in 1994 as a graduate and moved into European Equity Sales before re-locating to Sydney in an Equity Sales role in 1998. Andrea joined Citi in 1999 and worked on the Australian Equity Sales desk in Sydney from 1999 until 2007 before taking on the role to run the Australian Markets Client Management team. In 2010 she moved to the Asia region to head the Markets Client Management team for Pan Asia. In 2015 she was asked by the Global Head of Equities to lead a newly created Global Client Strategy team spearheading the Equities Sales strategy to help drive Citi’s global growth strategy in equities.
 
Throughout her career Andrea has been a keen supporter of diversity in the workplace and involved in mentoring and leadership programmes. Andrea was the co-chair of the Citi Women’s Network in Sydney in 2009 and a foundation member of “Females in the Finance Industry’ – fundraising in Sydney. Deirdre has extensive Australian and Asian experience as a management consultant, corporate executive and academic helping organizations implement business strategy and improve performance through effective people management. Her passion for diversity and inclusion is founded on strong principles of equity and high performance talent management in the workplace. She is actively involved through executive coaching and mentoring programs, promotion of leadership programs, as well as membership of corporate diversity and inclusion interest groups in Hong Kong. Deirdre’s career has spanned diverse industries such as banking and financial services, consumer products, hospitality, transportation and education.
She is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a registered psychologist and Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management.
